On April 1st / 2nd 2009, the first workshop took place in the Hotel Paradeismühle in Klingenberg with all new research staff members of the Collaborative Research Centre 805. Main objective of the two-day meeting was to help the new staff members to get to know each other and to transform the Collaborative Research Centre into a well-linked team. All new staff members presented themselves and their sub-projects A1 to A5 of project sector A Development, sub-projects B1 to B4 of project sector B Production and sub-projects C1 to C4 of project sector C Usage, in short 15-minute lectures and afterwards on the occasion of the following discussions.

Finally, the persons were appointed to be in charge of the organisation of public relations, of equal treatment, of working groups and representation of the research staff members in the project board meeting LAS for the organisation of the Collaborative Research Centre.
