A1 | Development of Models, Methods and Instruments for the Acquisition, Description and Evaluation of Uncertainties
This project develops a methodical support of analysis and synthesis steps during the design process of resilient technical subsystems considering uncertainty. First, requirements shall be identified, assessed and documented. Afterwards components and combinations of components with limited scope of operation will be designed and assessed according to transferable examples. Therefor special product development methods have to be prepared, which can for example define requirements in respect to their vulnerability or formulate generally applicable design principles for resilient subsystems. An assessment method to evaluate the input of additional resources required to ensure resilience will be provided.
